After finishing 3-0 last weekend in Missouri, Minnesota looks to keep its on-the-road winning streak alive as the team heads to Colorado this weekend for two non-conference games. Last weekend, the Maroon and Gold defeated two conference rivals, Indiana (11-4) and Missouri (11-7), and non-conference opponent Ole Miss (22-1).
In the first game this weekend, #24 Minnesota takes on the #8 Colorado Buffaloes, Friday, March 6. The game will be played at Kittredge Field, Boulder, starting at 6 p.m. MT. This will be Minnesota's first game this season against a top-10 MCLA Division 1 team. This will be the Buffaloes' second game of the season. They defeated the Northeastern Huskies in their first game. Last year, Colorado finished strong with a 13-3 record, going 12-2 during the season and 1-1 at the National Tournament in Salt Lake City.
Minnesota's second game of this weekend is against another strong Division 1 team, the Colorado State Rams. The game will take place Saturday, March 7, at the Loveland Sports Park, start time 1 p.m. MT. The Rams also defeated the Northeastern Huskies in their first game. Last year, Colorado State finished the season 3-10.
