Minnesota Travels to Missouri for its First 2020 Road Trip

The Minnesota Men's Lacrosse team plays three games this weekend in Missouri. All three games will be played on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia. The Gophers go into this weekend's match-ups with a 2-1 record. Two weeks ago, in their season opening weekend, Minnesota defeated the University of St. Thomas 10-9 and St. John's University 12-7, and lost to the University of Minnesota-Duluth 7-11.
Friday, February 28
The Gopher's first game in Missouri is against UMLC Division 1 Conference foe Indiana University. This will be Indiana's first game of the 2020 season. Last year, the Hoosiers finished the season 9-5. In the 2020 UMLC D1 Preseason Coaches Poll, Indiana was chosen to finish the season #2 and Minnesota #1 in the Conference. The game starts at 7 p.m. at Stankowski Field, 861 Tiger Ave.
Saturday, February 29
The second game of the weekend is against another strong competitor in the UMLC D1 Conference, the University of Missouri. To start out the 2020 season, the Tigers have won their first three games. Missouri finished last year's season with a 7-5 record. For 2020, the Tigers are picked to finish #3 in the Conference, per the Coaches Poll. Saturday's game starts at noon at Stankowski Field, 861 Tiger Ave.
Sunday, March 1
The Gophers last game of the weekend is against Ole Miss of the South Eastern Lacrosse Division I Conference. Last year, the Rebels finished the season at 2-7. Sunday's game starts at noon at Stankowski Field, 861 Tiger Ave.
